NSW State Library

The State Library of NSW has a history dating back to 1826. Its renowned historical and contemporary collections, comprising more than six million items, hold the growing memory of our state and nation.

Intact Projects were engaged as Head Contractor to construct the State Library of NSW premises at Macquarie Street, SYDNEY NSW.  Intact worked closely with the State Library of NSW.

The library was erected in three stages across two levels with changes to scope and design during construction, whilst undertaking additional works throughout the premises.

The incorporation of various finishes, high level joinery and furniture were successfully met to the architects and clients requirements.
